Wayne County Sheriff seeks woman wanted for robbery


The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for robbery in the third degree.

According to a wanted poster released by the department, 36-year-old Jolene L. LaPlant is currently being sought in connection with the charge. LaPlant is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on LaPlant’s whereabouts to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

Tipsters can call or text 315-946-9711. Officials caution against approaching or attempting to apprehend her.
