Two dead after crash, shooting near Frank Lloyd Wright and Shea boulevards


SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale police are investigating a deadly shooting near Frank Lloyd Wright and Shea boulevards.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. Monday, in a residential area, with the investigation continuing Tuesday morning.

Scottsdale Police Department officials say officers were first called to the scene after multiple 911 calls for the sound of gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle crashed in a ditch. Inside the car, two people were found with gunshot wounds.

One person died at the scene while the second person was taken to a hospital, where they also died. Their names have not been released.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
