A teenager has been indicted as an adult for an Armed robbery he allegedly committed as a juvenile.
Brayden Michael Gaddy was charged with Armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in Clarke County Superior Court.
Records indicate that the 17-year-old defendant was 15 when arrested in May 2023 for allegedly robbing shoes at gunpoint from a young man in Athens.
A resident of Monroe at the time, Gaddy was released on $10,000 bail that a judge granted on condition he live with his father in Gwinnett County.
The judge banned him from Athens for any reasons other than to meet with his attorney or attend court proceedings.
Gaddy is scheduled to be arraigned on July 16th.
