HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police released surveillance video as they search for two suspects in a robbery near Ala Moana.
The robbery occurred July 5, at around 9 p.m., on Makaloa Street.
Surveillance video shows two men walking up to a victim, and one tries to grab his bag.
According to police, the victim said during the struggle, he fell to the ground and blacked out. When he woke up, several items were missing. Police said he suffered pain and injury from the encounter.
Police said the suspects were seen running westbound on Makaloa Street.
Police released the following descriptions:
Suspect 1: Appears to be early 20s, about 5’7”, medium build, with a dark complexion, wearing a white hoodie, black and white shorts, white socks, and blue slides.
Suspect 2: Appears to be early 20s, about 5’8”, medium build, short black hair, fair complexion, wearing a white tank top, black shorts, white shoes, and blue hat.
