Suspect in Paterson shooting charged with attempted murder


A 26-year-old man from Paterson has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the city, according to prosecutors.

Officials say the victim, a 55-year-old man, was shot by Keime Porter around 12th and Madison avenues on July 16.

He was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Porter faces several charges including attempted murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.
