Two female drivers were injured in the three-car accident on Gordon Nagle Trail at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday in North Manheim Twp., state police said Friday.
According to police:
Jane Baker, 62. of Pottsville, was driving North in a Subaru Forester and veered into the southbound lane near Red Horse Road, striking two vehicles.
Both Baker and Amy Eckert, 49, of Pottsville, who was driving southbound in a Toyota Sienna, suffered unspecified injuries.
Dudley Bonzil, 49, of Nazareth, Lehigh County, who was driving a Ford Explorer going southbound, was not injured.
The Gordon Nagle Trail was closed in both directions from Sheetz to Cressona Road at 4:52 p.m. The road was reopened by 6:30 p.m.
Baker was cited for failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
The Pottsville Fire Department, Schuylkill EMS and Hatters Towing responded to the scene.
