A 36-year-old man from Qatar, who reportedly worked as a camel herder, is accused of raping a woman inside a London heart clinic on Harley Street, one of the city’s most prestigious addresses.
According to court testimony, the alleged attack happened after the victim agreed to have lunch with him. She claims he forcibly removed her clothing and assaulted her in a locked room.
Prosecutors say the woman tried to escape multiple times but was blocked and later fled partially dressed.
The suspect, who entered the UK on a visitor visa, denies the charges and claims the encounter was consensual. The trial is ongoing at Southwark Crown Court.
