Providence Police investigating armed robbery


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it was investigating an Armed robbery that occurred on Noyes Avenue on July 19.

Police said that witnesses told them three men approached them in their backyard around 10:30 p.m.

One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a pistol and knife and stole phones, wallets, and pendants before attempting to stab one of the victims and fleeing on foot.
