PORTERVILLE, Calif. (FOX26) — Two men were arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of driving under the influence and the finding of 25 grams of meth in the car on Monday.
Porterville Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 1200 block of West Henderson Avenue at around 1:30 p.m.
They contacted the driver, Curtis Souza, who was driving under the influence and was discovered to have outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Officers also contacted the passenger of the car, Gary Halford.
Halford was found to be in possession of 25 grams of meth, and a record search showed a previous conviction for meth possession.

Both men were arrested without incident.
Souza was arrested for DUI and for his prior warrants.
Halford was arrested for several drug-related charges.
