LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who was involved in a robbery outside a northwest Lincoln gas station earlier this month.
The robbery happened on July 14 in the parking lot of U-Stop near Highway 34 and West Fletcher Avenue.
Police said a man approached the victim and asked for cash to buy food.
The victim said he’d give the man $5 but only had $20 bills. He gave him a $20 bill, but the man insisted he wanted more, according to police.
The man then punched the victim and the face and said he had a gun and knife in his vehicle, police said.
The victim ran inside to call 911 and the man left the area in an older white Chevy pickup truck.
