Campbell, N.Y. — A fatal shooting is under investigation in Steuben County.
New York State Police responded to a report of a male with gunshot wounds following a “disturbance between neighbors” July 6 on Parker Road in Campbell.
Police said William Tong, 53, was taken to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, where he died during surgery the next day.
The other person involved, Devan Hall, 41, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police.
No charges have been filed as police continue to investigate the shooting.
