FERGUSON — Police were investigating the fatal shooting of a man in his 30s found Tuesday inside the front doorway of a home in the first block of Bayview Drive.
Pat Washington, a spokeswoman for Ferguson police, said the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police found the victim after getting a call for shots fired at the residence at about 4:15 p.m., she said.
Police are seeking a man in his 20s believed to have fled the scene in a white SUV, Washington said. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
