PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police are actively investigating an Armed robbery that took place in the West End Saturday night.
Around 10:26 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a residence on Noyes Avenue for reports of an Armed robbery.
According to city spokesman Josh Estrella, witnesses told police that three males, including one armed with a pistol and knife, approached a group in the backyard of a home, asking them for “everything they got.”
Police say the suspects took phones, wallets, and pendants from the victims before one suspect attempted to stab one of the victims.
The three suspects fled on foot, and Providence police are still looking for them.
