A person has died after being shot Monday evening in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood.
The shooting happened on Levant Street, Boston police said, adding that the victim was transported to a hospital.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said later Monday night that the victim had died. He has been identified only as an adult male.
Authorities did not say whether anyone had been arrested.
No further information was immediately available.
