Pee Dee man charged with murder after early morning stabbing


DILLON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A suspect was arrested and charged with murder after a stabbing in Dillon County, deputies say.

Deputies responded to a reported stabbing at the Sunflower Apartments around 12:15 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a woman with stab wounds.

The suspect, Johnny Leach, was arrested and held at the Dillon County Detention Center.

Leach is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

This case remains under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
