LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – Two people were arrested near Thackerville after a hit-and-run in Texas.
Love County Sheriff Andy Cumberledge said the Cooke County Sheriff’s Office alerted them about a hit-and-run that happened in their county, and that vehicle (a U-Haul) was heading into southern Love County.
Deputies quickly found the vehicle near Exit 3 and saw two people walking away from it. After confirming it was the two suspects in the hit-and-run, deputies arrested them.
Upon warrant check it was discovered the two had a long criminal history that spanned multiple states, primarily drug-related charges.
