GEDDES, N.Y. — The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to two upcoming traffic alerts in the Town of Geddes.
First alert: The following ramps, connecting Interstate 690 and State Route 695, will be reduced to one lane daily, from July 7 to 11.
- I-690 westbound off-ramp to State Route 695 southbound from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- State Route 695 northbound off-ramp to I-690 eastbound from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Second alert: The following lane reductions along Interstate 690 in Geddes, from July 7 to 11.
- I-690 eastbound will be reduced to one lane between exit 10 (NY 695/Lakeland/Auburn) and Exit 11 (NY 297/Fairgrounds/Solvay) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- I-690 westbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 12A (NY 695/Auburn) and Exit 9 (State Fair Blvd/Lakeland) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Department of Transportation said both alerts are due to bridge inspections.
