One person killed in overnight crash involving overturned dump truck in Overland


OVERLAND, Mo. (First Alert 4) – One person was killed in an overnight crash on Page in Overland.

According to police, the call came out around 1:30 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash on Page, just west of Deilman Road.

A dump truck, which appears to be hauling asphalt, was found overturned. The other vehicle involved, a pickup truck, sustained heavy damage and was burned.

One person was confirmed dead from the incident.

MoDOT estimates the road to reopen around 6 a.m., but it could be longer.
