One dead, two flown to Springfield hospitals after Wright County Crash


WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – An 87-year-old man from Graff died in a two-vehicle crash in Wright County Thursday afternoon. Both drivers were medevaced to Springfield hospitals.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it happened around 3:45 p.m. Thursday. A woman and the man were traveling across U.S. Highway 60 near Norwood.

Investigators said a truck failed to yield and crossed into their path.

The man died in the crash. Both drivers were taken to Springfield hospitals with serious injuries.

MSHP reports this is Troop G’s 17th traffic fatality this year, compared to 13 by the same time in 2024.
