One dead after crash in Valley, police chief says


VALLEY, Neb. (WOWT) – One person is dead after a crash involving a semi truck in Valley on Thursday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the crash where Meigs street meets Highway 275 just before 7 a.m. Thursday.

Our crew on the scene says the crash also involved a car and a camper.

As the street will be closed for several more hours, drivers are asked to avoid the area. The Valley police chief confirmed the fatal with First Alert 6 shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday.

As officials say the road will be closed for several hours, drivers are advised to avoid the area.

Authorities say the DCSO Accident Reconstruction Team is on the scene to assist the Valley Police Department.
