MILLARD, Neb. (WOWT) – One person has been arrested after a stabbing in Millard that left a man dead Thursday evening.
On Friday, police gave an update in a report that states the man who died Thursday was 85 years old.
A 53-year-old man was arrested for criminal homicide in connection to the stabbing, the report states. OPD has not yet named the victim or suspect.
Officers were called to the incident just after 6 p.m. Thursday to 185th Avenue and Polk Street, just north of Harrison Street.
OPD dispatch said the man was taken to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
In an update just before 10 p.m. Thursday, police said the man had died of his wounds. The suspect was taken into custody at that time.
