OKMULGEE, OKLA (KTUL) — On Saturday, July 12, the Okmulgee Police Department requested the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation with a homicide investigation.
According to OSBI, police responded to a shooting near Martin Luther King Street and North Wilson Avenue around 12:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Devontae Hanson, age 25, was located at the scene with a gunshot wound. Hanson was transported to a nearby hospital and was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in this investigation.
