COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Two lanes of northbound I-25 near Woodmen were closed Wednesday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash.
The Colorado Springs Police Department said a crash involving a few drivers, including one motorcyclist, occurred around 5:15 p.m.
According to police, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. As of the time of this writing, there is no update on that person’s condition.
Police said a second crash then occurred within the traffic that was backed up from the first crash.
As of 5:40 p.m., two lanes of northbound I-25 were still closed. Police said they expect the lanes to reopen within a few hours.
At this time, there are no updates on the cause of those crashes or if any citations will be given out.
