MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) – A motorcyclist needed hospitalization following a crash involving a minivan on Thursday night.

Just before 8 p.m., Manitowoc Police and Fire Personnel were called to the intersection of Maritime Dr. and N. 8th St. for a crash.

When first responders arrived, they found the motorcycle operator lying on the curb, with bystanders assisting them. The operator of the motorcycle had significant injuries that required transport to a hospital in Green Bay.

Police said the minivan driver was cited for failing to yield right of way. Police said neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in this crash.
