Masked gunman robs American’s Best Inn on Harrison Rd, suspect still at large


Macon, Ga (WGXA) The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial Armed robbery that took place Friday night at the American’s Best Inn, located at 4991 Harrison Road.

Deputies responded to the scene around 9:37 p.m. after receiving reports of a robbery in progress. According to investigators, a masked man entered the business brandishing a firearm and demanded money from the register.

The suspect fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities say it is unclear whether the suspect left the area on foot or in a vehicle. The robber is described as wearing all dark clothing — a sweatshirt, pants, and a mask covering his face.
