GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Warrants reveal a manager at the Greenville IHOP was arrested for conspiring with the man who robbed the breakfast chain last month.
30-year-old Chico Haddock was arrested by Greenville police yesterday for helping William Brown rob the IHOP on Evans Street on June 16th.
On Monday, police arrested 32-year-old Brown, who warrants say used to work at the restaurant.
According to warrants, Haddock, who was working as the night manager at the time, opened the safe and gave the money inside to Brown to take.
Warrants say Brown got away with nearly $3,300 in cash.
Haddock was charged with common law robbery, two counts of felony conspiracy, embezzlement of less than $100,000 and larceny by employee.
He was taken to the Pitt County Jail, where he faces a $125,000 bond.
Brown was charged with common law robbery and felony conspiracy and was given a $50,000 bond.
