LAWNDALE, Calif. (KABC) — A man was shot and killed inside a 7-Eleven store in Lawndale on Sunday evening.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting inside the store in the 15800 block of Prairie Avenue just after 8 p.m.
At the store, officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men fled and are on the loose, according to deputies.
It’s unclear what exactly led up to the shooting. Authorities did not immediately release further details.
