LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A man is facing aggravated assault charges following an incident in Lancaster around 9:30am Saturday morning.
Police say they determined a man named Harry Thomas, 41, attempted to attack another man with a knife in the 600 block of North Plum Street.
Thomas reportedly left the scene and went to his home in the 500 block of Hand Avenue, prompting police to set up a perimeter around his home and close down roads and sidewalks in the area.
Police say after roughly 45 minutes, Thomas exited the home and was taken into custody.
A woman and child were inside the house at the time, and were uninjured, according to police.
Thomas is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and resisting arrest.
