Lenoir Police make arrest in convenience store robbery and sex assault


LENOIR, NC. – Lenoir Police have charged 28-year-old Dylan Tolbert in connection with a sex assault and robbery at the Run-In convenience store on Hickory Boulevard early Monday morning.

Investigators say Tolbert robbed the store and sexually assaulted the female clerk before getting away with the cash.

Now, he’s being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center on a $350,000 bond.
