Hope, Ark. (KATV) — A reported robbery at a credit union prompted officers of the Hope Police Department to respond after bank employees say two suspects stole money from an ATM.
On Monday, July 7, at about 8:40 a.m., officers arrived at the scene of Red River Federal Credit Union and learned more about the act.
The bank employees were operating a bank ATM at the time of the incident.
According to a release, the suspects are described as two black males. Both of them were in dark colored clothing and facemasks, according to HPD.
Their vehicle was also identified.
It is classified as a White Nissan Altima that was reported as stolen in Texarkana, Texas.
The two suspects traveled north on U.S. Highway 278 after leaving, however officers later found the vehicle.
Currently, the vehicle is being examined and will be held as evidence.
No arrests have been made as of now.
