PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) – The Gibson County Sheriff says one person is on his way to jail after a high speed chase Saturday morning.
According to Sheriff Bruce Vanoven, deputies received a tip on a suspect in Gibson County who had been making threats to someone outside of the county.
A deputy spotted a car matching the description of the suspects, which had a fake license plate.
The Deputy says the suspect took off at a high rate of speed when they tried to pull them over.
The chase went through Johnson and Owensville, before the suspect crashed into another car on State Road 64 at White Church Road, just inside Princeton’s City Limits.
That was around 11:07 a.m.
The suspect and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Sheriff Vanoven says the suspect will be taken to the Gibson County Jail when the hospital releases them.
