Four dead, 18 injured after high-speed San Antonio crash involving bus from North Texas


Four people are dead and 18 are in the hospital with varying injuries after a high-speed crash in San Antonio on Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. when a stolen white Camaro was speeding on Interstate 35 and crashed into a small transport bus pulling a trailer, according to San Antonio police. Four suspects, at least one armed, fled the scene after the crash, police said.

According to our NBC sister station in San Antonio, WOAI, the suspects remain at large.

Those involved in the crash range in age from young children to senior adults. The transport bus was part of a company called “Transportes Guerra” and was en route to Mexico from Fort Worth. In a Facebook post, the bus company asked for relatives of those on the bus to call their office.
