FLORENCE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Florence man was arrested on drug charges after the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant on Chestnut Street on Tuesday.
Authorities said the warrant was obtained “due to the drug dealing activities of one of the occupants of the residence.”
According to authorities, a search of the home turned up 15 grams of fentanyl and a small amount of methamphetamine.

Agents also reported finding various pieces of drug paraphernalia, including items used for distributing drugs.
Timothy Russ, 27, was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
