Fatal shooting investigated in Orange County neighborhood

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man found suffering from a gunshot wound early Thursday in an Orange County neighborhood later died at a hospital, deputies said.

The shooting was reported around 2 a.m. at the intersection of 18th Street and South Nashville Avenue, west of Orange Blossom Trail, southwest of Orlando.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the scene and found a man in his 30s who had been shot.

The man was taken to a hospital and later died, the sheriff’s office said.

No other details have been released.
