East Greenbush, NY (WRGB) — A man is in critical but stable condition after being seriously injured in a workplace accident at the Pella Windows and Doors warehouse in East Greenbush early Monday morning.

Emergency crews were called to 2 Krey Boulevard around 7:46 AM for reports of a man pinned under multiple doors during a truck unloading. First responders arrived to find an adult male suffering from severe injuries caused by the falling doors.

The victim, whose name is not being released, was transported by Bruen Rescue Squad to Albany Medical Center.

The East Greenbush Police Department is investigating the incident and says it appears to be accidental. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has also been notified and will conduct a separate investigation.

Officials say no further details are available at this time but updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

The department extended its thoughts and prayers to the victim and his family during what they called a difficult time.
