Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting at Lawndale 7-Eleven

Sheriff’s homicide detectives Monday are investigating the fatal shooting of a man inside a 7-Eleven store in Lawndale and the suspects are on the loose.

Deputies were called at 8:06 p.m. Sunday to 15809 Prairie Ave. and Manhattan Beach Boulevard where they found the victim, Lt. Jose Salgado of the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Salgado said. Fox11 reported the man was not a convenience store employee.
