MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Dane County officials named the person who died in a crash Tuesday near Marshall.

The Dane County Medical Examiner stated Magiel Antonio Castro Morales died from the injuries he suffered in the crash.

Officials pronounced the 39-year-old Columbus man dead at the scene of the crash, near State Highway 19 and Weidemann Drive, in the Town of Medina.

The agency stated officials finished a forensic examination on Tuesday.

Dane County deputies said the three-vehicle crash was reported before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Castro Morales was a passenger in one of the three vehicles.

Dane Co. Sheriff’s Office said officials took two drivers to a hospital with serious injuries. EMS treated a third driver, who was later released.

The crash shut down State Highway 19 in both directions early Tuesday morning.
