UMATILLA, Fla. (WCJB) – A convenience store employee was arrested after stealing thousands of dollars’ in lottery tickets.
Deputies say Rajeev Saini, 56, stole nearly $7,000 worth of scratch-off tickets from Green Acres Store on Southeast Highway 42 near Umatilla on Monday.

When questioned, Saini said he did not remember the theft because he had just taken Tylenol and shots of whiskey.
He’s being held on a $5,000 bond.
