SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CADDO PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE:
The Caddo Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested a man from North Caddo for sex crimes involving a juvenile, as reported by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.
On June 26th, deputies from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Patrol investigated a case of sexual misconduct against a minor in North Caddo Parish. They then contacted the Special Victims Unit, which conducted an interview with the suspect, 41-year-old Carmello Carmello-Reyes.
Following further investigation, Carmello-Reyes was arrested on one count of Molestation of a Juvenile and 15 counts of Crimes Against Nature.
Carmello-Reyes was subsequently taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
