ANDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Anderson County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a man who died after being shot by his father.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department responded to Colonial Drive in Easley early Saturday, July 5, in response to a man who had been shot after an alleged altercation.

The man was treated at the scene for multiple gunshot wounds.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office says 44-year-old Clyde Eugene Davis III succumbed to his injuries on the scene.

Authorities say the manner of death has been ruled homicide, and that it is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
The Anderson County Office of the Corner and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the scene.
