Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” adds an eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has spent all its weeks on top consecutively, having become his first leader on the chart.
Concurrently, Warren’s album You’ll Be Alright, Kid vaults 19-5 on the Billboard 200, becoming his first top 10 on the ranking, after it was expanded with 10 songs, including “Ordinary.”
Elsewhere in the Hot 100’s top 10, “Golden,” from the hit Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters and by HUNTR/X, the trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, rises 4-2 for a new high. It also reaches No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart — becoming the first song by an all-woman group to lead the list since it began in 2013.
Plus, Morgan Wallen’s former Hot 100 No. 1 “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, at No. 4, sparks history for the singer-songwriter on the Hot Country Songs chart, where it leads for a 10th week. It marks his record-breaking fourth song to reign for 10-plus weeks, surpassing Florida Georgia Line’s three.

‘Ordinary’ Streams, Airplay & Sales
“Ordinary,” on Atlantic Records, tallied 20.7 million official streams (up 6% week-over-week), 74 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 1%) and 6,000 sold (down 12%) in the United States July 18-24.
The track keeps at No. 4 on Streaming Songs, following four weeks at the summit; scores a sixth week at No. 1 on Radio Songs; and drops to No. 9 from No. 1 on Digital Song Sales, where it has led for nine weeks.
“Ordinary” also continues at No. 1 on the Songs of the Summer chart, having led in all nine weeks since the survey made its annual return after Memorial Day.

HUNTR/X Slays in Streaming

It simultaneously tops Streaming Songs for the first time, rising a spot with 25.7 million streams, up 12%, marking the Hot 100’s top gainer in streaming for a fourth consecutive week.
“Golden” becomes the first song by an all-woman group to lead Streaming Songs since the chart began in 2013. (Previously, four collaborations by two solo women and no other billed acts each hit No. 1: “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2” by PinkPantheress and Ice Spice, in 2023; “WAP” by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyoncé, both in 2020; and “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX, in 2014.)
“Golden,” from the hit Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, also jumps 109% to 3.7 million in radio audience — it debuts at No. 35 on the Pop Airplay chart — and 10% to 4,000 sold. (A remix of the song by David Guetta was released Friday, July 25, and will count toward next week’s charts.)

Wallen Rewrites Country Record

The song, which topped the Hot 100 in its debut week in May, becomes his record-breaking fourth song to lead Hot Country Songs for 10-plus weeks, surpassing Florida Georgia Line’s three.
Wallen’s other hits to dominate Hot Country Songs for double-digit weeks: “Last Night” (25 weeks, 2023); “You Proof” (19 weeks, 2022); and “Wasted On You” (11 weeks, 2021-22). Meanwhile, Florida Georgia Line’s three such songs: “Meant To Be,” with Bebe Rexha (a record 50 weeks, 2017-18); “Cruise” (24 weeks, 2012-13); and “H.O.L.Y.” (18 weeks, 2016).

Rest of Top 10: ‘Daisies’ & More
Justin Bieber’s “Daisies” drops to No. 3 on the Hot 100 a week after it debuted at No. 2, becoming his 27th top 10. It’s the chart’s top gainer in airplay (10.5 million, up 145%).
Morgan Wallen’s “Just in Case” holds at No. 5 on the Hot 100 after reaching No. 2.
Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” lifts a spot for a new No. 6 Hot 100 high, a week after it became her first top 10.
Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which led the Hot 100 for a week in March 2024, and wrapped as the year’s No. 1 song, ascends 9-7 — as it adds a record-extending 101st week on the chart overall and a record-padding 71st week in the top 10.
Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” stumbles 6-8 on the Hot 100, following its record-tying 19 weeks at No. 1 beginning last July.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” rises 11-9 after 13 weeks atop the Hot 100 beginning in March. It runs up a 29th week at No. 1 on both the multimetric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, extending the longest command on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (dating to October 1958, when the chart became the genre’s all-encompassing songs ranking).
Rounding out the Hot 100’s top 10, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” is steady at No. 10 following five weeks at No. 1 beginning in January.
