NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department announced the arrest of a man accused of killing a man who was found inside a motel bathtub in March.
MNPD reports that the U.S. Marshals arrested 39-year-old Omeed Yahya Esmail in New York City.
Esmail is accused of the death of Joseph Williams.

Williams was found deceased in the bathtub of his motel room on Claridge Drive, where he and Esmail were staying for months.
MNPD reports that the 39-year-old will be returned to Nashville soon.
At the time of the discovery of Williams’ body, officers found him lying on his back in the tub, fully clothed. Police said there was clothing over his face that was removed by first responders, who then saw dried blood on his face.
The drywall in the area had been broken, and pieces were inside the tub.
