Driver from Conn. dies after seriously hurt in Mass. Pike rollover crash


A driver who was hospitalized after a rollover crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham on Monday, causing a ramp to close off to cars, has died, Massachusetts State Police told MassLive on Tuesday.

The driver was identified as Devin Leary, 58, of Newington, Connecticut, State Police said. Leary was initially hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

At 7:56 a.m. on Monday, MassDOT alerted commuters that the Route 30 ramp to the eastbound side of Interstate 90 was closed due to the crash, according to a post on X.

It is unclear when the Route 30 ramp was reopened following Monday’s crash. MassLive has reached out to MassDOT for more information.
