Gunman kills five people in mass shooting at Bangkok market


A man opened fire at a market in the Thai capital Bangkok on Monday. According to authorities, five people were killed and two others injured. Among the dead are four security guards and a market vendor. The 61-year-old perpetrator then turned the gun on himself. The motive for the attack is still unknown.
