A manhunt was underway Saturday evening for the multiple suspects who robbed a McDonald’s in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, officials said.

At approximately 3:45 p.m., two men in masks committed an Armed robbery at McDonald’s, 4844 N. Lincoln Ave., 40th Ward Ald. Andre Vasquez said in an alert to residents. Chicago police established a perimeter between California Avenue, Ainslie Street, Washtenaw Avenue and Lawrence Avenue as they conducted a search for the suspects.

Residents were asked to avoid the area while police investigated.
