SAN ANTONIO – A man with an extensive criminal history was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Friday.
Louis Beltran has been sentenced to 30 years in prison following his conviction for aggravated robbery.
Beltran had a violent incident in the fall of 2023, when he entered the Sugar Leaf Smoke Shop and held a store employee at gunpoint. Prosecutors said he forced the victim to the ground and restrained her wrists and ankles with zip-ties before stealing more than $3,000 worth of items, including vape pens, digital scales, and cash.
Beltran’s extensive criminal history contributed to his 30-year sentence.
