LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A news conference is scheduled for Friday morning to discuss the grand jury case involving Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Alexander Bookman.
A source tells News 3, Bookman will not be indicted.
Bookman, 26, was involved in the shooting death of homeowner Brandon Durham last November.
The incident occurred after Durham, 43, called 911 on November 10 to report a person refusing to leave his home on the 6900 block of Wine River Drive.
Bookman returned to the residence 24 hours later when Durham reported a home invasion.
Body camera footage captured Bookman shooting and killing Durham while he was inside with his 15-year-old daughter and a woman.
At the time of the shooting, Durham was struggling over a knife with an intruder identified as Alejandra Boudreaux, 31.
Police subsequently arrested Boudreaux. Her trial is scheduled for Oct. 13.
