Wilmington man jailed in connection with Horry County armed robbery

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Carolina man is facing multiple armed robbery charges after allegedly holding two people at gunpoint in April and stealing $500, Horry County police records show.

Lee Roosevelt Thompson, 40, of Wilmington, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday without bond.
