A teenager is dead and a man is in critical condition after
a shooting in Durham.
Durham police were called to a shooting shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening on Sherwood Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a man that had been shot. Police said he was taken to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.
A second person was shot and also taken to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries by a private car. Police later said the person was a 17-year-old boy.
Police said he died from his injuries.
Several unoccupied cars and apartments were also struck by gunfire, police said.
