Body found, pulled from banks of Missouri River


KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A sad discovery along Interstate 435 Tuesday afternoon around 1:30.

Police were called to a body seen lying along the banks of the Missouri River on Kansas City’s east side July 22.

The passenger of a semi truck was high enough to see the lifeless person from his raised cab heading eastbound on the interstate.

Police and fire crews were called to investigate and pull the body out near the 435 bridge.

The medical examiner is working to identify the cause of death.

Their identity is not yet known.
